Alkin Model Two

I have to declare a vested interest in the Alkin Model Two watch; I own one.

It’s great. One of my top 2 favourite watches.

I love the compressor twin-crown style and this one does not disappoint. Although not a true compressor, even though the crowns do screw down, but who cares for £425. I ain’t gonna be diving any deeper than about 5 metres.

The model two is powered by a Miyota 9039 automatic movement, water resistant to 300m, with a bi-directional bezel, and available in 3 colourways, although the black is all sold out. I went for the blue one.

…and that’s one of the many justifications I use when buying a new watch. I’ll write a whole article on it later!
